Eric Morrison has spent more than two decades shaping EMS systems across the Carolinas, building organizations where people, performance, and purpose align. Today, as Director of Iredell County EMS, he leads a 200-person team through strengthening clinical performance measurement, elevating workforce culture, and implementing strategic initiatives that improve care delivery and operational efficiency.

Eric’s leadership philosophy was shaped early in his career, beginning as a paramedic and later serving in roles that blended education, community engagement, and organizational development. From designing leadership academies to building employee-driven work teams, he has consistently focused on empowering people and creating environments where teams thrive. Across the county, hospital-based, and urban EMS systems, Eric has guided agencies through major transitions: new technology platforms, capital replacement strategies, revenue cycle improvements, and system-wide performance initiatives.
