Angela has more than 30 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services and over two decades of experience in EMS education, leadership, and program development. She currently serves as EMS Department Chair and Program Director at Sampson Community College, where she has played a key role in developing and expanding highquality EMS education programs and workforce initiatives.
Throughout her career, Angela has served numerous leadership and operational roles, including EMS Training Officer, educator, field provider, and county medical examiner. Her experience spans EMS administration, curriculum development, accreditation processes, instructor development, and continuing education programming. She actively serves on state and professional committees dedicated to advancing EMS education and improving standards of practice across North Carolina.
Angela has extensive experience in training design, leadership development, and simulation-based education, with a passion for mentoring current and future EMS professionals. Her instructional philosophy centers on creating engaging learning environments that promote critical thinking, accountability, and professional growth.
She remains committed to strengthening the EMS profession through education, leadership, and the development of providers who are prepared to meet the evolving challenges of healthcare and public safety.
