Stormy Butts serves as the Chief of Gates County Rescue & EMS, where he guides the department with a vision for growth and excellence. Under his leadership, GCREMS has achieved significant milestones that have enhanced its service level, capabilities, and community impact. He has led the department from its days as an Advanced EMT Volunteer Rescue Squad to its status as a paid, Paramedic-level service. Through his strategic leadership and unwavering dedication, Stormy has positioned GCREMS as a vital and trusted resource in Gates County and throughout Northeastern North Carolina, continually striving to meet the evolving needs of those it serves.
